Vault context and review

Attach notes, folders, the active note, the current selection, linked notes, backlinks, PDFs, images, or vault-search results to a conversation. Semantic search uses an on-device embedding model after its optional first download, or a configured local Ollama server.

Agent mode can search and read the vault. Writes are disabled by default. When write tools are enabled, every create or edit action still requires confirmation. Proposed note edits are shown as per-hunk diffs so each change can be accepted or rejected before it reaches the vault.

Research records remain plain Markdown. Only reviewed evidence with a valid locator and source counts as trusted support for a claim.
